Siri Shortcuts + Apple Intelligence

The goldenhour iOS app exposes its core actions as App Intents, so you can pin them to your lock screen, trigger them by voice, or chain them into Apple Shortcuts. Customer-side intents (built into the in-development customer app) let your clients say “Hey Siri, book my usual.”

Why this matters

iOS 26 introduced App Intents 2.0 with Visual Intelligence, Interactive Snippets, and the new agentic-Siri integration. Most salon-software apps haven’t adopted any of it yet. We built goldenhour to be a first-class citizen of the assistant era, so the moment you say “Hey Siri, when’s my next appointment,” it actually works.

    Surfaces your day-of bookings as a glanceable list. Lock-screen Shortcut-friendly so you can pin it next to your music + flashlight.

  • Mark appointment done

    LiveArtist

    Quick action surfaced after each appointment ends. Voice-friendly because it doesn't require choosing: Siri reads back the just-finished appointment and asks for confirmation.

  • Capture voice note

    LiveArtist

    Record + transcribe a voice memo against the most recent appointment. Foundation Models on-device summarization writes a 1-sentence rollup straight into the client card.

  • Send rebook nudge

    LiveArtist

    Send a personalized rebook SMS to a specific client. Uses your per-client cadence (smart-rebook) to suggest the right gap.

    For repeat customers on the customer iOS app (still in soft launch). Looks up the customer's most-frequent service + artist + cadence, finds the next matching slot, and confirms.

    Show me the next available slot at any artist I've previously booked with. Renders as an Interactive Snippet in Siri: no app launch.

    Pin the spray-tan rinse countdown as a Live Activity on the lock screen. Reads minutes-until-rinse on Glance.

  • Visual Intelligence storefront lookup

    Hold your camera at an artist's storefront window decal or flyer; if their goldenhour booking URL is encoded in the QR or printed, Visual Intelligence surfaces their next available slot inline.

Quick start

Pin a goldenhour action to your lock screen

  1. 01Open Settings → Control Center on iOS 26.
  2. 02Search “goldenhour”: the four artist-side intents (Open today, Mark done, Voice note, Send rebook) appear as toggleable controls.
  3. 03Add to Control Center, or long-press the home screen and choose Add Widget to pin as a Lock Screen widget.
